NIOS 2017....

today for the first time i saw Pathetic arrangements for students of NIOS ... the national institute of open schooling.. of India
many students are weak in studies and many have disabilities...some have writers .... and None of us were allowed to enter the school premises till 2.20pm
we were to report at 2pm ....but that was to stand in the heat and dust outside ....such utter chaos ....
finally i lost my cool and told the watchman what i thought about his highhandedness .... students and parents were Flustered by then
once we went in ....
it was worse ...
the roll numbers displayed were those of the IIT-JEE and some were of UGC-NET ...parents running and kids looking upset and worried

one big built mallu lady teacher came and asked me to leave the building ...i told her that my child was asked to leave an allocated seat as the invigilator was confused about the roll number
she told me ...get out and go complain about this exam center ...we too do not want to conduct NIOS exams .... i gave it to her Left Right and Center and also said ....first ...it is very obvious that you do not like being in this job and try evicting me out of this place before i seat my child ... i defied her ...i said you folks have school till 2.15 and expect parents to leave our wards in ur Incompetent hands ... i most definitely wont

what i do not understand is ...even i had to go out of my way to ensure SNAP and some other exams were conducted in the pvt college i worked in ....and those exams Always were on Sundays ....i used to wake up early and call each invigilator to ensure ....none of them were in a problem situation and ensure quorum of invigilators ...for smooth operations of exams ....
how can a teacher Yell at harassed parents ...if the school has given them additional work of exam conduction ....such Shoddy Rude ..chaotic conditions ...despite this being govt work ...or is this what we parents should expect ....Becoz it is govt conducted exams ????
the other parents were talking about deplorable conditions for practical exams too ... the examinations started late for the practicals too ...

NIOS is opted by the very poor, learning disability students and students into sports and other extra curricular activities .....these are the Special students ...not only were the parents complaining about the shoddy treatment their wards get in the schools they are going to ....Exams too are conducted in Such a Lackadaisical manner

quite a students found the paper tough and lengthy ...i am so lucky that with a background of ICSE, CBSE & IB ...my child found the paper a breeze.. though lengthy ....

things need sooo much of streamlining .... Education scene in India is a Cesspool .... i am sooooo glad i did not send my son to any school nor to the learning center ...
my heart goes out to the kids with no parents to help them and the poor kids who are attempting 10th through the NIOS board ....

most of us did not get the hall ticket and had to download it ...

the only good thing i saw today was ...a girl reached very late ....but she was allowed to write the paper ....she was giving other papers in some other place she said ...

most educational orgs in India need to be Whipped into Shape ...seriously..
