of late I do not give my kids chores as they help out their grandparents everyday …..today I told my elder child to wash capsicums and potatoes for me …..I reiterated that he should wash the vegetables very well ….as he can sometimes finish chores very fast and can be Quite the Raymond like Mr Raymond in Everybody Loves Raymond ….when it comes to chores ….
today I checked one capsicum and told him to wash it again to take off the black dot of dirt on the capsicum …..my son listened to me and then after trying to wash it off and failing....
he shows me the capsicum and says with élan ''mama this is the capsicum's Birth Mark''
and I said Wow ….that is by far the Best Excuse I have heard from you in the kitchen ….
to which he insisted that he had done a thorough job and the black dot was not dirt ...and I said ok ….but I had a good laugh ...
however KIDs and their POV is Highly Amusing on some days ….
