Tea estate bungalows in the Tata circle came with a huge cow shed that could house 40 cows ...this was to encourage Dairy development for the wives of executives ... then there was the juicing and squash making and strawberry and anthurium cultivation and jam making they introduced for the wives of tea executives ...
So much outreach for the Tea Labourers and their children too ...
Be it TISS or Words from JRD Tata to Mrs Sudha Murthy about Philanthropy ... Tata's stand for Development ...no matter where in India they were allowed to grow ...
